KDE Disability Africa Foundation – Liberia is focusing on a long-neglected segment of society – female teenagers and young women with physical disabilities living below poverty levels through our Vocational Training program and Empowerment workshops. Girls and young women with physical disabilities are among the most vulnerable and many lack practical skills to get a job (employment) or start their own business (entrepreneurship). Our purpose is to improve the lives of people with disabilities and dis-enfranchised girls and youth in Africa and the US. We do this by providing vocational training, empowerment workshops, clothing, food and advocating for disability inclusion. Our headquarters is in the USA.
